During my time in 1910 PR, I have been working with the Distinguished Lecture Series account team. From working DLS events to creating graphics and scheduling Instagram posts, I’ve worked with great team members to help me along the way.

My greatest struggle on the 1910 PR staff has been figuring out how to use the Meta Business Suite to create my posts for the DLS Instagram page. Initially, I thought I would get access to the account and could just post graphics and captions regularly like if it was my own Instagram. However, for some reason, I wasn’t able to access the account. Luckily, Dr. Kinsky showed me what Meta Business was. After a few posts, I got the hang of it and now have a new skill.

My greatest achievement this semester in 1910 PR was being a part of Audrey Wright's DLS event. She put on an amazing performance and really told a great story while playing the violin. I had never seen someone play the violin like that in person. It was unbelievable the kind of music she was playing. I greeted guests and monitored the event attendance, but I was still proud to be part of that impressive event.

I have enjoyed my time here as part of the 1910 PR staff. I am grateful for the skills I have learned and will be taking them with me as I progress towards my future career.
