Dr. Kinsky

Emily S. Kinsky (Ph.D; Texas Tech University) serves as s a full professor in West Texas A&M University’s Department of Communication where she teaches courses related to public relations, design, media innovations, research and internship/professional development. She helped establish and continues to advise WT’s student-run PR firm, 1910 PR. She serves as a board member on the Commission on Public Relations Education and on the editorial boards for Journal of Public Relations Research and Journalism and Mass Communication Educator. She is the immediate past editor-in-chief of the Journal of Public Relations Education and a past head of the Public Relations Division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. Dr. Kinsky’s research has been published in a range of journals, including Public Relations Review, Journal of Applied Communication Research,Howard Journal of Communications, Journal of Public Relations Education, Journal of Public Relations Research, PR Journal, and Communication Quarterly.
