Before joining 1910 PR, I was not aware what this class consisted of; this course was merely a way to earn an extra credit needed for graduation. However, throughout the semester, I realized that this course was like no other. I was so accustomed to taking courses, studying the content, and then completing exams, that when I joined 1910 PR, I was introduced to a completely different environment. On the first day of class, we were informed that this course is considered a firm and that each of us will work for a client. A few other classmates, as well as I, were given the College of Fine Arts and Humanities to work for.
As I mentioned above, this class is like no other. This course does not have exams, homework, or written assignments. It is very hands-on. I have enjoyed many things during my time in this firm.
I learned how easy it is to make connections that will help me in the future. I got the opportunity to meet an amazing handful of people, and I even got to be led by a professor who really cares about the students and their future.

I also learned how to properly work for a client and what needs to be done to keep them happy. I feel more confident when it comes to working with others as well as working for a client.
I recommend taking this course no matter what major you are in or what type of degree you are pursuing. This course allows one to gain experience in what it is to be a PR executive and provides useful skills that can be used in future careers.
