Over the past few weeks in my 1910 PR class, I have been assigned 1910 PR as my client, which has given me hands-on experience creating content for a real

brand. We began by discussing overall design ideas, branding direction, and how to keep visuals consistent with the message of the client.

Through these discussions, I have gained a better understanding of how strategy plays a role before any content is created, rather than just jumping straight into posting.

Recently, we started designing quote posts that align with the podcast we are listening to for the client. These quote graphics are meant to highlight key messages from the podcast while also staying visually engaging.

This process has helped me think more critically about how design and messaging work together, especially when creating content that supports audio-based media like podcasts. It has also taught me how to pull meaningful, shareable moments from longer content.

Through this class, I hope to learn more about real-world public relations strategies, content planning, and how to communicate effectively with a client’s audience. One of my main goals is to become more confident in creating strategic, visually appealing content that serves a clear purpose.

By the end of the course, I want to have a stronger understanding of PR campaigns as a whole and feel prepared to apply these skills in future professional settings.
