Being in 1910 PR has taught me so much throughout this semester, especially when it comes to content creation and social media.
One area I’ve really grown in is making reels and posts. Some of my favorite projects were the reels I created for our client, the College of Fine Arts and Humanities, where I highlighted study spots before midterms. I also loved designing graphics to promote things like Green Lighting and the Symphonic Band concert.

These projects helped me get more comfortable being creative while also thinking about what actually connects with an audience.
Another big takeaway from this class was learning how to use Slack. At the beginning of the semester, it honestly felt pretty intimidating and confusing.
Over time, though, I got used to it and now feel a lot more confident using it to communicate and stay organized.
It showed me how important good communication is when you’re working with a team, especially in a more professional setting.
Some of my favorite memories from 1910 PR were celebrating the 9th birthday party and working the poetry series event. Both were really fun, and getting to share those experiences (and good food) with my classmates made it even better.
Overall, this class helped me grow not just in my skills, but also in my confidence and connections with others.
