This semester in 1910 has taught me valuable real-world skills that go beyond the classroom.
Throughout the course, I have had the opportunity to edit and improve the website, which showed me how important organization, design, and keeping content updated are for a professional brand.
Working on the website also helped me become more confident with digital tools and problem solving.
Another major takeaway has been learning how to work as part of a team.
Collaborating with others, sharing ideas, and completing projects together has shown me how important teamwork is in any professional setting.
I have learned that effective communication and reliability are key when working with a group.
The course has also helped me understand more about posting and scheduling content for social media and marketing. I now see how much planning goes into creating successful content and reaching the right audience at the right time.
Along with that, I have learned different ways to grow in the industry by building connections, staying consistent, and continuing to develop new skills.
Overall, 1910 has given me hands-on experience and practical knowledge that I know will help me in future jobs and opportunities. It has been a course where I learned not only technical skills, but also professional skills that I can carry with me long after the semester ends.
